Recreated Childhood Video Game in 15 Minutes!
While an old Nintendo game would not run reliably on an emulator, a developer recreated the remembered game in about 15 minutes as a quick example of vibe coding.
Video summary
When an old Nintendo game would not run reliably through an emulator, a developer quickly recreated another remembered childhood game during a family call. They describe using vibe coding to make something playable in around 15 minutes.
The story is a small example of how fast AI-assisted coding can turn an informal idea into a working prototype. It is less about recreating a perfect original and more about recovering the shared experience of playing together when the planned setup failed.
