Good day. Tech is down. Well, I've heard that it's down by 83%. I can't quite verify that number. But what I can tell you is about 600,000 jobs have been lost in the United States over the last five years since the pandemic. And that's also reflected in India, where the outsourcing model has been challenged. So there's now a shift in what's going on because of AI: more capability, but also, post-pandemic, there was a huge burst of enthusiasm around pandemic-related hiring, which created... which we're now seeing.
And also investment. There's been a real consolidation in the investment going to these hyperscalers and these really big companies, and much, much less in the smaller companies. In fact, we're down at an all-time low in terms of venture capital in startups.
