AI Chatbot for website

A website chatbot can answer quickly, support visitors around the clock and automate routine conversations, helping teams respond without missing leads.

Video summary

The speaker explains why a business might use a chatbot trained around its own company information rather than a general-purpose assistant with broad internet knowledge. A chatbot can bring together information that is specific to the organisation and its customers.

A medical-practice appointment flow is used as an example: a patient could log in and book through a conversational interface. The point is that a website chatbot becomes useful when it connects a clear visitor need with the right company data and process.

Why would you want to have a chatbot on your website? I mean, chatbots are out there like ChatGPT, they're very powerful, they have access to the whole internet. Well, sometimes you want to have access to your own company data. One good example is booking an appointment. Say you're a medical practice, you can have your patients log in and book an appointment right there and then. This is something that's unique to your company, the customer's data, the appointment data, brings it all together and presents it in a very accessible form, which is a chatbot on your website.
